Cons
No career progression at all period. best positions will always get filled by people not within OANDA as they do not believe in internal promotion as far as Asia Pacific office is concerned. Internal staffs will not even get an interview to try out for the position. They do not even bother to cross train employees in different aspects of the company and internal transfers, if any, is only possible if all the stars align. Hardwork will not get you anywhere in the company, compensation is inversely correlated with hardwork and effort in this company. The bottom feeders are often the most hardworking people who sincerely cares for the company. If you are looking for any career progression within this company, you can forget it. Headquarter in Toronto always keeps a tight rein on the Asia Pacific office even when we are racking in the money to cover for their losses and incapability. Have to fight tooth and nail for petty stuffs. Company is too heavily burdened by people who are not worth their salt (and salary)
