      A seemingly international company with local mentality and out-of-date management

      Pros

      Decent staff facilities (well, at least on the surface), e.g. canteen, gym, etc.

      Cons

      Incompetent, unfair, and abusive manager. Hyper political work environment. Anti-human corporate culture. It doesn't matter if you're incapable or slack at work. As long as you can be a people pleaser and forget about integrity, you will thrive in this company. Last piece of advice: Don't believe in their so-called "only the brave," it's all fake.

      Excellent perks, 401(k) plan after a year that works out more than fairly, merit-based raises and profit-sharing, typically a flex schedule

      Cons

      Recent acquisition, also known as get rid of management time. Lots of underlying planning for termination and loss of management positions. Not all of these were based on merit more so on desires for change.

      Pros

      Avid interest in professional development and competence. Highly integrating of its staff across countries through its personal platform. Clear training structure. Generous uniform allowance.

      Cons

      It was a concession within a store so there was less influence over the display and there was a limitation in what stock was available; moreover, they were changing from a concession and integrating into House of Fraser, which made the presentation and upkeep worse as well as stock supply.
