Pros

Put forth effort to learn and you WILL be rewarded. Management will work with you if you need time off for legitimate reasons. 15 on 6 off On-Call schedule. (Sounds bad at first but once broke out and can handle jobs solo you basically work from home). FUEL CARD Truck allowance Work is not very strenuous, mostly troubleshooting unless rigging up, a lot of wire running and mounting equipment.

Cons

A lot of travel (I don’t mind it but has proven to be a turn off to many former employees) No real overtime. (It’s a salaried job so you get paid for forty hours every week even when off.) but if you work 80 hrs in a week the 40 OT pay may range from $15-$8 an hr. Use personal vehicle. Truck allowance isn’t enough to offset the depreciation for amount of miles put on.
