Pros

- pay is decent - Health insurance is good - Impressive pipeline (if it can be properly managed)

Cons

- upper management takes zero responsibility for any negative outcomes - There are deliberate attempts to skirt laws and regulations - Company processes are outdated and haphazard at best - Communication from upper management is inconsistent and often nonexistent - Company does not have a clear direction they want to move in, so employees are constantly chasing a moving target - Upper management does not seem to understand what their employees actually do - Upper management will push employees they don’t like off projects - There have been multiple incidents of egregious disrespect towards employees from upper management with that have all been swept under the rug - Only “yes” people have opportunities for advancement, even when guarantees are made that are impossible to follow through with - Company sacrifices integrity if it means bumping up the stock price

Sluggish and inefficient

Pros

Cafeteria located on first floor, and the view out over the water was refreshing.

Cons

Tardiness of exec management to attend scheduled meetings, or make decisions, set the tone of sluggishness and delay for everything else. Requirement for CEO to approve all PO's over $500 often caused significant, and unnecessary, delays.

Short-sighted & Top Heavy

Pros

The teams are great. Very open and friendly environment and an exciting pipeline.

Cons

The CEO has to sign off on everything that VP’s should have ownership on. This delays things getting done and difficult to meet deadlines. Departments don’t collaborate well, so many employees are left in the dark. The company isn’t open to change or new ideas; very stagnant culture where voices aren’t heard. Employees don’t feel valued, especially since there hasn’t been HR leadership in a year. Meanwhile there are 13 VP’s in a 250 person company. Top heavy, but employee development and growth are nonexistent. Additionally, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak where headquarters are (Seattle), leadership has not encouraged employees who can work from home to do so; putting employees and their families at risk. This sends the message the company does not care about its employees health and well-being. I’m very disappointed by this blatant lack of awareness.
