Pros

•Sometimes they actually have toilet roll in the bathrooms. •Some of the people that work there.

Cons

•The offices are filthy •Facilties issues are not dealt with and no one is ever around when issues arise to fix them •Hardworking people have given everything to the company and have been made redundant in the most heartless ways. Some people have come in to work as usual at 9am and by 10am have been told they are no longer needed by the company and asked to leave. •Hierarchy system in place where by your opinion only counts if you are at a certain level •Inappropriate comments/behaviour constantly, and when it's brought up nothing is done. •No issues are ever dealt with. Everything is swept under the rug. •Staff always left in the dark. Redundancies were announced and a complete overhaul to the current business structure and we were told there was no Q&As at the end of the session. •Everything about Openet is political and strategic. •Letting people go in drips and drabs so it won't make the news that they have let so many people go. •No room for new thinking, fresh ideas etc. •Low wages unless you're at the top. •HR don't care about staff. If you approach them with an issue you seem to be bothering them. •People with no management experience or people skills are made managers. •People in some departments are allowed to work from home / come and go as they please, which means the rest of the team are forced to do double the work. •They have no interest in helping people advance in their careers •Absolutely NO strong, good, fair leadership in this company. •It's a company where people only do things for their own gain. •No perks for staff •Rats constantly running around outside the buildings. •No integrity, respect or moral compass in this company. •HR and CEO are weak, ruthless, inappropriate and undignified

A Deeply Troubled Place...

Pros

* Good place to start a career - real work to be done * Deploys systems that work at world class scales * Generally OK about personal HR issues * Good benefits

Cons

* Management Team filled with politicians - lots of energy expended internally * No clear, focused plan for the future - instead every politician has a plan of their own * Development is weighed down by a cargo cult interpretation of "Agile" that consists of endless meetings and breaking down work into inefficient 'micro-goals' * Significant positions filled by over-promoted, insecure micromanagers * HR dabbling in office politics. Also appear to be posting fake Glassdoor reviews to 'fix' perception issues
