Pros

- The agency produces high-quality work with opportunities for ongoing learning for employees - Supportive mentorship that provides guidance and builds confidence - Ongoing efforts to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency - Flexible hybrid work model - Encouragement to fully utilize vacation time each year - Exposure to a diverse range of therapeutic areas and brands - Well-designed modern office (feels like you’re on a movie set!) - Good compensation package

Cons

- Opportunities for more team-building and social activities could further strengthen collaboration across the agency - The Hamilton location may not appeal to everyone initially; however, it offers a growing food scene and can be an enjoyable place to work with an open mindset :)

As the company grows, some processes are still evolving, which can require adaptability. Additional structure in certain areas would help streamline operations.

Pros

Operatic Agency is made up of a strong team of intelligent, driven individuals who genuinely care about producing high-quality work. The team is committed to delivering thoughtful, bespoke client projects that stand out from competitors, which makes the work both challenging and rewarding. A hybrid work model is important to me and is something I value in a workplace. Operatic offers flexibility and balance, with the option to work from home while still maintaining in-office collaboration. We have a diverse mix of clients providing exposure across different industries and verticals in the healthcare space. I have already grown so much since I first started working at Operatic and I'm excited to continue learning and find new ways to strengthen my skillset.

Cons

Currently, there is no formal performance review, annual review, or salary review process in place, which can make it difficult to understand long-term growth opportunities / career progression within the agency. While teams collaborate well within their own groups, there isn’t yet a strong agency-wide culture that brings everyone together consistently. More intentional social and cultural moments could help strengthen cross-team relationships. Additionally, employee recognition could be improved. Operatic team members work hard to maintain high standards, often going above and beyond. Therefore, I believe that more consistent acknowledgement of those efforts would positively impact morale and retention.
