      Paychecks are the only upside to a toxic workplace

      The only good thing is that you receive paychecks, that’s it!

      Cons

      I don’t know where I should start! First things first do not believe the high ratings here. They are mainly from employees whose managers ask them to leave 5-star reviews on Glassdoor to increase the average score. If you don’t believe me go check the reviews for McGrath’s Beer House on Google Maps where many of the reviews are from employees (the beer house is owned by the Optimize CEO). Also the CEO needs therapy he yells at everyone. On top of that every month they fire and hire new people. It’s kind of out of nowhere and without any clear reason.

      Hands-on work from the start with financial data, reports, and portfolio analysis Learning investment and wealth management strategies for different situations Good team: organized, competent, and helpful Competitive pay and benefits

      Cons

      No major issues for me. There are tight deadlines, and the pace can pick up substantially, but no job is perfect.

      Good starting point for a financial career

      Pros

      Working closely with advisors and clients. Seeing how financial plans come together in real situations. Constant sharing of knowledge and insights, so you learn and gain confidence pretty fast. Good benefits and flexibility in schedules.
