Pros

- some managers are better than others.

Cons

- no hope for upward movement, I often asked for more responsibilities but nothing was ever done - projects/work ie not very exciting or motivating, in my experiences. - documentation is horrendous, very hard to train/ramp up new employees. - Sometimes toxic environment due to the behavior of some management. Examples: unjustified temper tantrums, verbal attacks on other people/contractors, and innappropriate things being said. This person has been brought up to HR on multiple exit interviews and nothing is done. It is truly unbelieveable. - turn over is very high, especially for the younger crowd

Dysfunctional and Toxic Culture

Pros

-Company is taking steps towards improving but has a long way to go

Cons

Main takeaways: -Toxic work culture. There are particular senior executives who truly make working here entirely unenjoyable. They consistently display behavior that should not be condoned in the workplace and have erratic tendencies. It is hard to put into words how uncomfortable I felt during certain situations. What is worse, is that the company is aware of this and seems to turn a blind eye despite many employees voicing their concerns. -Dysfunctional management. During my time here, I was amazed at how dysfunctional management was. There was no visible sense of collaboration and the personal distaste among colleagues was alarming. It felt like no one shared a common goal. -Sense of direction. The company wants to be better but at the end of the day they mask long term problems and don’t do a very good job of implementing their vision, at-least for certain divisions/ product lines -Growth opportunity. It was clear early on there was no upward momentum and that roles mostly remain static. The lack of innovation and lack of opportunity to learn new skills was apparent. -Client Focus. At least in my experience, there was relatively little attention paid toward the client ask or client suggestion. There was constant backlash about satisfying client needs which in hindsight, will spell out a ton of problems down the road. A ton of high value clients left during my time here and it is incredible they act like they don’t know why. The mindset that “this is the way we have always done it” does not align with the market outlook. Many decisions were made based on personal opinion and not factually based or data driven. Overall, I’d advise to stay clear, especially if you are motivated to grow in a professional capacity and want to be in a place where you can thrive.

Good product but mismanaged

Pros

Free Parking and good vacation policy.

Cons

Requirements change day to day and forced upon the developers to make changes. Should be an agile approach but waterfall is being used. Every engagement with the head of product is a battle instead of a conversation.
