We're pleased to hear that you found strong leadership in our CTO and had opportunities for learning and growth during your time as a Software Engineer here. We acknowledge your comment about layoffs and understand your perspective on the challenges Own Up faced resulting from the covid pandemic. Like many companies in the mortgage industry, we had to make some tough decisions, including reductions in force, the last of which occurred in 2023. We recognize that layoffs can seem opaque from an employee's viewpoint due to the sensitive nature of the process. Regarding your feedback on simultaneous firing/hiring, we would need more context to address this specific point.
