It’s a strange place with a high staff turnover, as many other reviewers wrote. There is practically no communication between teams and often not even inside your team. You can feel the low morale, at least in the Cardiff office.
They move you between very different projects so that you’ll struggle to meet their objectives. The bonus scheme is a con: targets are stretched to keep you away from it.
On top of that, the office is a health hazard. Dust piles up in desks and you have to clean yours. It’s located in Capital Tower, where the air conditioner only has two settings: freezing cold or boiling hot. With the air con stuck in subzero during winter months, I had to figure out how to wear multiple layers of warm clothes with the mandatory collared shirt and suit trousers. I was ill for one third of my time there, with colds or the flu. Water available to drink in the communal kitchen tastes bad and a senior staff member recently confided to me that it’s sourced from toilet water (!). There was always someone sick, either in the office or off sick – but management doesn’t care.
I am convinced that a big chunk of the positive reviews in here are fake.
