Not So Tremendous

Pros

If you are effective at self-management and learning as you go, this company is for you.

Cons

PFQ suffers from poor management, high corporate turnover (particularly out of the branch offices), inconsistent practices across offices, and poor communication within the team. The HR team has little to no regard for the employees or the clients they serve. Administrative employees are not given consistent raises, but instead the company focuses on creating new positions that serve no purpose outside of making management look important.

Entrenched Leadership

Pros

The agencies under PFQ are objectively high-quality and the benefit the individuals receiving services is not matched by competitors. There are a myriad of programs to support individuals with IDD and behavioral health issues and the folks being the scenes are not disconnected from that population.

Cons

Like the headline states, there are entrenched personnel who are incapable of change despite evidence based reports and examples. This lack of flexibility creeps down to everyone, especially the direct support level. Leaders, despite saying all the right things, continue to play favorites and delegate work irresponsibly to staff, who then get burnout. Despite continuing conversation, quality individuals get pushed out from frustration, leaving complicit employees that only contribute to the culture. It's reported the CEO earned over $250,000 in 2023, yet an in-home masters level therapist starts at 45k a year...

Pros

Excellent CEO. Management does really care about you and your future with the company.

Cons

Understaffed, mandatory over time is a thing, high turn over rate and agency workers that just don't care about anything but their pay check.
