      It's a job that pays money???They don't care about your performance if you can impress the right manager/supervisor. You can hide your incompetence if you impress the right people or know the right people's secrets.

      Cons

      No real advancement opportunities unless you're a political and cultural bootlicker. Toxic culture that doesn't respect integrity or character, or competency.
