Pros

Job flexibility was the only pro here..... that, and being released when oil prices dropped.

Cons

POOR communication from Executive Management - down, cares very little for their employees, and never assists employees to grow in their role.

Pros

Have some very experienced and knowledgeable field Superintendents and treaters. Seem to have a steady customer base so you work plenty of hours in a week.

Cons

A very dysfunctional place to work, due to extremely low turnover. At least 50% of my crew were new hires, often very incompetent and un-engaged employees. It was very clear that there was almost no screening process for new Equipment Operators, leaving you to train guys that had absolutely no interest in what they were doing. As a result, the majority of the experience would leave for more notable companies. Additionally, the equipment is poor and its not out of the ordinary to spend 1 hr plus looking for a tractor with valid inspection/papers to take equipment out to location with. No per diem Man camp management is horrid (Midland,TX)

Pros

Basically a paycheck .

Cons

The operators, treaters, and field supervisors run the equipment to the ground. The maintenance dept is a big joke. No communication anywhere. I just saw a posting that said they payed an etech2 27-45 dllrs and hour. That is a lie! I was there over 8 years and a tech 3 and the pay scale for an etech never went over 28 dllrs an hr
