Pros

Great benefits and frequent happy hours

Cons

The Corporate Politics game is serious business here. You have to be play it, and play it well. The IT department in specific is full of backstabbing and favorites get the best treatment while others are left behind. You can ask for training but it doesn't mean you'll get it. The department head focuses more on corporate politics and her social standing than improving the department.

Lucrative but Not A High Spirited Environment

Pros

The company as a whole looks out for its employees financially. It's a lucrative business that has plenty of end of the year incentives to appease those who work there.

Cons

The company is a grind with the only point of enjoyment coming from the paycheck. Even the "team building" events are simply the company throwing money at a destination and presuming that everyone is happy.

Pros

PCG overall I believe is a great company. Competitive pay, good benefits, and fun to work for. The people are just great...with exceptions! Depends on your department apparently...

Cons

The accounting department is riddled with discrimination and favoritism- beware! Some of the supervisors only have the position because they are a “favorite” even though they are incompetent. People get promoted based on favoritism, not work. Basically unless you are beloved my the accounting manager you will go nowhere. Better get a job elsewhere. Even the people who benefit from the favoritism will admit this, and recruiters have started to catch wind of it even. I thought my work was so good that it surely wouldn’t happen to me. I was very mistaken.
