Pros

I have so many positive things to share about working at Persolvent. When hiring, they find the best person for the role, not the person with the most experience, that way they find the right fit for the company and teach you about the role along the way. I was able to interview with several team members and get a job overview before being hired. Everyone in the company is friendly, hardworking, and genuinely loves what they are doing. Most teammates have been around for several years, as this is not a high turnover company. We have made a smooth transition while facing a worldwide pandemic, where most team members are working remote yet are still able to connect daily during our morning team calls to get together and see each other's faces. We also have fun slack channels and monthly challenges to stay in touch with one another and connect about non-work related subjects. I love being on the support team, my teammates are wonderful people who really care and love their roles. I feel like part of a real team, where we help each other out and care for each other like family. I look forward to our weekly team meetings where we share our previous week's successes and challenges and brainstorm for better practices. My manager and I meet weekly for 1 on 1 time, where we can share idea's and talk about work positives and challenges. Once a month we have company calls where everyone gets to see one another and discuss company goals and plans as well as share our idea's. Leadership in this company is the best I have ever experienced. I am encouraged by the CEO to reach out to him personally anytime I have anything to discuss, he wants to know what I love about my job and what idea's I have to make my job better as well as what idea's I have that could make Persolvent an even better company. The entire leadership team is involved day in and out in everything that goes on. I have always felt 100% supported in my role from day 1. No two days are the same, and my particular role offers a lot of diversity. One of my favorite parts about this company is that it is philanthropic, and is always giving back. I am also encouraged to find charity work during business hours and get paid to do it. The benefits here are amazing, lots of time off and amazing health benefits.

Cons

I came from a different client support role, and had never done anything with payments prior to this role. I felt as though I was learning a new language which can be overwhelming. There is a lot of training built into this role so after a few months you learn and grow and eventually become an expert at what you are doing.

Pros

When researching Persolvent as a potential future employer, I thought that the glowing reviews and commitment to core values seemed too good to be true. Everyone on board going the same direction...working together? The support of my peers and encouragement of continuous improvement in all aspects? My birthday paid off each year?!? At my first all-hands meeting during my first week at Persolvent, someone commented, "Everyone is truly as friendly and helpful as they seem!". After working at Persolvent, I can attest to that truth! My skepticism was unfounded. Management listens, they value each team member and his/her input, and Persolvent just plain old takes care of their own. Team members listen to each other, value one another's input, and have fun while doing so. We correct each other and THANK each other for it...because we truly are all working together towards the same, clear goals. People work on projects in line with their strengths, and hard work and commitment to excellence is just the norm. Although it is the norm, however, it is still greatly valued and highlighted through frequent accolades. Thank you, Persolvent!

Cons

I just can't wait to be see & experience the culture in person! (Due to the pandemic, I was hired remotely and we are working from home.)
