Very good local field staff in front line in programmes coming from communities. Despite the increasing lack of confidence for the new international top management new strategy and approach they continue to work with local communities trying to improve their lives.
Cons
Very old fashion NGO with power concentrated in white top management in hqrs in the UK, highly paid and totally scrap and useless. Conflict of interest and lack of expertise in development at international board and assembly level, where almost only white seat. Organisational culture used to hide under the carpet for months internal issues on mismanagement of donors fund in Africa for not losing donors support and money. Child sponsorship projects hide serious issues on how children and sponsors are linked and how the link is managed. The only driver is money.
