Pros

I joined the Polymershapes family immediately after graduating college and it has been an even greater “first career” experience than I imagined for myself. To start, the CEO takes great care of his Shapes family and knows each of us by name. He makes a point to get to know his employees and make us feel important and cared for while remembering details about our lives. Next, my manager and teammates have been supportive and patient throughout my onboarding/first few months as I learn more about the company, products, and best practices to delight our customers. They are always willing to explain things to me even when they have a multitude of tasks on their plates. I highly recommend Polymershapes to anyone looking for a Sales career where they’ll be challenged, rewarded, and grow with people who truly want to see you succeed.

Cons

Nothing but uplifting experiences here :)

Pros

Good first job opportunity for someone out of college. Company will devote time and resources to train new employees.

Cons

Company lost a lot of knowledge and experience when new owners took over. Some locations are burdened with high turnover and lack of solid leadership. A lot of new hires don’t last long and move on due to lower pay. Too many distributors looking for same business. Profit share is entirely subjective.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are glad to hear that our efforts to improve our new hire onboarding process have been effective. We have promoted a large number of internal candidates to positions of leadership and we are focused on helping them become the best leaders they can be. Our Profit Share program is unique and is not subjective. It is based on the performance of each local business for any given year. The calculation is clear and does not change from year to year. Of course our managers are able to recognize those team members who are performing at a very high level which is something that some organizations are not able to do. Thank you for your feedback!
