Limping, clueless “startup” stuck in a Midwest mindset and flailing to figure out its next move. CEO is laser-focused (unhealthily obsessed) on the bottom line, with complete disregard for people, career growth, and work/life balance along the way. The CEO listed on GlassDoor is currently incorrect, so this feedback is specifically for Rahul Prakash, the current CEO. The company relies heavily on revenue from one customer and struggles to bring in or support new business due to tech debt, extremely poor planning, terrible delivery, shiny object syndrome, blue sky thinking, and negligent management of its people. New customers drop like flies. If it can be outsourced, it WILL be, without any question as to what this means for company culture. Only the cost savings. In fact, culture seems like a distant and alien concept to the mangement of this company. There are monotone, robotic personalities in the world, and then there is the leadership of this company. In the past 6 months they have done away with HR leadership, sales leadership, and thought leadership. Now it is just an exercise in duck salesmanship. Do you need a duck? We will sell you some ducks! Powerley is also way behind the times on PTO and benefits at large. Their major competitors offer far better packages. They know this, but do not care because it would impact the bottom line.
