Where to start... The owner has no idea how to run a business. She would hide things from her husband, who is also part owner. He's the reason she even has her business...that she has no idea how to run. The owner has no knowledge in dog behavior. More than once dog fights happened, at the fault of the owner. She over-books the facility to make more money, not caring about the safety of your dogs or staff. She's lost a dog before! And tried to blame it on anyone and everyone else. The owner has a child-like mentality, and is very immature when things do not go her way. It was like working for an incompetent dictator. Her ideas of deep cleaning are spraying down all the kennels with a hose. Playrooms don't get the disinfecting they need, because shes too cheap to buy pet-safe products instead of clorox bleach. Staff loses their give-a-damn because they are over worked and under appreciated.

High turn-over, low wages, inexperience, lack of training, lack of benefits, not enough staff per dog, the owner expects 1 person to care for 40 dogs which isn't safe, the owner likes to let dogs run around everywhere making it difficult to do your job.
