Pros
Great pay and bonuses and ability to get raises. Ability to work overtime, extra pay for working weekends and nights, and triple pay for working holidays. Can make one regular weeks (~1200) pay by working one holiday.

Very hot in the summer, physically demanding most times, 12 hr rotating shifts, some people are

-pay -not too much micromanagement -pretty good with allowing you to take pto
Cons
-when the lab is understaffed work can be too much for one person -they tell you it's performance based pay raises, however that isn't true -no room for advancement
