You will learn a lot in change of your mental health. Decide your balance!
Pros
- You will definitely learn a lot about everything digital marketing, like a lot. So if you love learning, this is the place to be. - You can start working from literally zero knowledge on SEM, SEO, or Analytics, the training is very efficient. - You will carry on the reputation of Precis Digital everyplace you go, opening lots of doors if you know how to sell yourself - Amazing place if you are diligent and easy to manage.
Cons
- If you complain about management you will be flagged. - Check carefully when going to share a personal story or feelings about work, the incorrect person will use that against you - You will probably win some enemies if you overperform - HR is not neutral, if you share your feelings about management they will take management position over employee position. - Team leads were almost untouchable, they don't make mistakes, and if they do, it's your fault - Performance reviews are very subjective, even if you do a wonderful job, the excuse of " there is always room to grow" appears and your salary won't grow accordingly - If you are international you will feel excluded. English is the main language of work, but speaking Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finish will always overrule literally corner you in some conversations. - Management is a Men's club, it was just recently that women started to become team leads. - If you want to grow, performance doesn't matter, just make as much noise and deliver the bare minimum and you will climb faster - Managers lack management experience. Precis is promoting people who know the craft but don't know how to lead a team or a project. - Time management is a lie, you will probably going to burn out if you don't check closely. - If your manager is too busy, you are left alone to learn, so ask your peers for assistance or help. - Keep evidence of conversations with management because they will forget what they told you and if you complain, make a comment, or ask for feedback based on that and you don't have evidence, the blame is on you. - If you seek help if a client is being too challenging, and you have tried to fix it but doesn't work, management will take clients' positions and not yours. So don't complain. - If you are let go during your 6 months probation, they don't even let you say goodbye. Sometimes you can even just arrive one day at the office and your computer will be looked at. Literally, you are out.
