How badly do you want to work in football?

Pros

Being an insider in the world of football. Access to events like training camps and the NFL Combine. Access to incredible football data and other great content.

Cons

Below-average pay for comparable work in the area and minimal benefits... because so many people want to work in sports, the attitude from management is that they're doing you a favor by giving you a job in the sports industry. The company culture is to work long hours and be "on" a lot. In my experience, people who don't come up through the football analyst ranks are treated differently. Minimal diversity. Temperamental / micro-managing senior management.

Pros

Helpful management, Solid training provided, Lenient

Cons

The work can be boring. Tedious, so if you're not willing to spend more than 6 hours a day non stop in front of a computer with two screens collecting data as the games go on, this isn't for you. You get paid for your work, not your time. Also you're definitely underpaid for your efforts. Job opportunities are limited outside of sports journalism, social media management, and working for a local football team. There isn't much diversity either, it really seems like a bunch of frat boys got together and created this company. Their takes aren't that impressive either.
