Pros
The franchises are generally small so it's difficult for good work to go unnoticed if you work for a fair owner. With the smaller number of employees, if a staff is well put together a store or franchise can run incredibly smoothly for a long time.
Cons
Very little room for growth depending on the franchise. Fully competitive pay can be hard to come by depending on the owner, location and size of the franchise
