Pro.com has an employee rating of 3.4 out of 5 stars, based on 20 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there. The Pro.com employee rating is in line with the average (within 1 standard deviation) for employers within the Construction, repair and maintenance industry (3.7 stars).
Pro’s culture is a great strength -- they are by no means perfect, but I really like the transparency and desire to do right by the customer, whether that’s a homeowner, subcontractor, or employee. They are in a growth phase right now so there are many opportunities for improvement and advancement. Some of the executive team and many of the engineers are originally from Amazon, so there are definitely some elements of Amazon culture (e.g. ownership), but for the most part I think they’ve done a good job of selectively adopting the positive parts of Amazon culture. The culture is very goal-driven, but also ensures that employees are treated well.
