Many thanks for leaving this review. We agree it is important that you leave honest and more importantly factual and truthful feedback. Unfortunately though I have to disagree with a lot of what you are claiming, the contents of which appears to be malicious following your subsequent resignation. Here at Project Solar UK we have over 120 sales agents and sadly you only worked with a very small team, who you appear to have took it upon yourself to speak on their behalf. Our surveyors paint a totally different story which details very satisfied and happy salespeople. If you also read our reviews on Trustpilot you will see many of these detail a positive and true reflection on the way we treat our hardworking and dedicated customers and reviews of the company and sales force. Just a few other things to clarify too: - - We take staff performance very seriously and we only want the best representing us. Therefore we tackle poor performance quickly, as not every meets our high standards. We understand at times though this will lead to disgruntled sales people taking it out on us if things don't work out. I hope that my response to your review gives other people reading this an opportunity to see the other side of the story - as nothing always looks as it seems.

Pros

From at first I was very sceptical of the whole idea working self employed for Project solar Uk , especially looking at the reviews online. However what I have realised since the beginning is that you always have someone to speak to or guide you into the process. Whether that will be speaking to my manager or colleagues or even the training / meetings you have monthly. The 2 week starter training was thorough and helped me gain the information I needed to be successful in the job ,the first moment on the road was the toughest , it took me at least two weeks to get the hang of the job. You will definitely need some money in the bank to start up, as you can understand there is always things to learn, things you don’t know, the job is all about learning the products and also gaining an understanding of what customers want, and I’m still Learning 4 months in to the job . The benefits of this job is the flexibility in terms of work load you want to do but obviously the more time you put into the job the more money you gain, the obvious financial gain is one of the main benefits of this job. All in all this job is a fantastic opportunity with huge financial gains , at the beginning you will think your not succeeding however over time you begin to realise what your doing wrong , rectify your mistakes and then make big bucks !

Pros

Free workplace charging but always blocked by fossil cars - the chargers are practically ornaments. Nice soap in the office toilets.

Cons

Pay is below average with no other benefits. Overtime is mandatory, often driving >400 miles per day during 12-14 hour days that are meant to be 8 hours and no legal minimum lunch break. No fuel or hotel cards so you have to stump up a large part of your monthly wage packet (1/4 in my case) only for them to quibble your expenses every time. The managers think they’re the best thing to ever go into business but have little clue about leadership or morale. They could a take a lot of lessons from high profile successful business people. Some ‘managers’ think interrogation is an acceptable tactic to ask questions. Using pester power to get employees to do things they’re not comfortable with is, pathetic. Framing new employees is incredibly unprofessional. Customer concerns are dismissed which results in very poor product service and a perpetually angry customer base. For a supposedly environmentally conscious business, running and buying new diesel vans isn’t a great look. Brand new £50k EVs and home chargers for the sales team but nothing else for others - a huge wealth gap. Some managers don’t believe in the product they’re selling and supporting and actively discourage the use of EVs. Don’t ever highlight poor/unethical practices because you’ll get a DCM (don’t come Monday) without warning and a threat of lawsuit if you’re honest about your experience. A real shame because there are some genuinely nice people there.
