      Pros

      Mostly great people, and an amazing collaborative working environment. Solid work/life balance.

      Cons

      They really struggle to retain, grow, and otherwise support non-engineer team members. This is tied into a very dev-centric sales approach; owners struggle to find, or don’t focus on, consistent rewarding work for PMs, designers, etc. This leads to a feedback cycle where non-developers are undervalued by both the company (in terms of salary) and clients. Management means well and wants to provide opportunity for growth but can’t follow through.

      Pros

      The people at Promptworks are the best. Each team member is smart, unique and willing to help do whatever the team needs to be successful. My manager was personally invested in my success in good and challenging times and we worked together to deliver the high quality work that the company is known for. I got to work on some really interesting projects and learned the nuts and bolts of custom software development.

      Cons

      The company is smaller but growing. This allows you to wear many hats which can be overwhelming at times but ultimately provides a growth opportunity!
