Pros

Some of the employees are wonderful people, hopefully they’re able to find better employment elsewhere.

Cons

This is the worst employer I have ever encountered. During the pandemic the CEO remodeled to move people closer together because desks pulled apart provided a poor aesthetic. He banned eating at your desk because smells would infiltrate the office and insisted that everyone eat in the lunch space (again not covid compliant). When employees did contract covid no notice was given to those who worked closely with those people. In particular, the CFO contracted covid and the supply chain team just had a lunch with him in a small conference room a few days prior. No one on the team was informed and one of the team members did end up with Covid. When the others who sat with him found out about this they were not given permission to quarantine. 5 people in an office of about 20 then contracted covid. The CEO asked everyone to return ASAP. Even the HR Director returned, still sick and coughing, after being out for one week. This shows how little care is given to the office staff, imagine how little consideration is given the production employees. Many of these employees have no other option due to their personal circumstances and this is taken advantage of by providing poor working conditions. CEO doesn’t like anyone being out on vacation and work from home is not allowed. If you accept a job they want you to start immediately and if you don’t they will want to yank your offer. It’s the craziest behavior I’ve seen. No one agrees with the CEO, and everyone outwardly believes he is the problem in the business but nothing is done to change direction. A change there would not only improve this work space it would also help increase profit and productivity. If you are a female, run. When I was there only one woman had a manager title and unlike the males with that title who had private spaces she sat in the main office. Also women are not treated equally on the production side they have no lockers and are forced to store their stuff in the lunch room where it’s often stolen.
