Pros

No rush, canteen, international teams, many products and technologies

Cons

I've never seen such a paternalist management style. While they want to hire competent people they actually lock them on a very small scope, and teamwork culture is clearly not there, everything is done to keep things in silo. Infrastructure is incredibly fragile. Development and deployment practices dates from the eighties and management style from the fifties. Project management via email and micromanagement, applications are done by one employee at a time, preventing any sinergies. Outdated OS on the servers, and while it's mostly network related programming non-admin windows laptops are imposed, with a ridiculous set of outdated development tools. Due to that, development is 75% workarounds and bugfixes and 25% actually developping features ( maybe worse ). Don't go there until they fix their culture.

Pros

- Pay and benefits (car + public transport, holidays, company restaurant) - Location

Cons

- Office politics - Negative team culture: every man for himself - Lowest quality tools for the job: poor laptops (with no admin rights), poor test environments, draconic network restrictions, ... - Not for a true engineer: having a good sales pitch is more important than having a good solution

Pros

Good salary and other monetary compensations Lots of holidays Zero stress company

Cons

*If you actually want to develop something you're in for some bad news. IT is outsourced as much as possible, leaving an internal IT department that is completely outdated and clueless. *Managers have little to no interest in new technologies. *As mentioned in other posts the emphasis for internal people is to do as little as possible, which creates frustration with some people who still want to work (who usually leave) *No chances for internal growth * Personal evaluation takes 10 minutes and the result is already set, based on the bonus the department can spread amongst it employees.
