Pros

There is always food somewhere in the building.... no seriously you can gain a ton of weight working here!

Cons

The only employees recognized or glorified in any way are sales, outside sales, and management. If you are in any other role internal or otherwise i.e. assistant, IT, HR, Reception, order planning, service, shipping/recieving etc... you dont exist or are to menial to waist an effort on. It's an extreme disadvantage if you happen to work in one of these other positions, and even more so if you happen to be female. There is MAJOR sexism going on. Prepare to be objectified by old men and creeps, and there are a lot of internal relationships between uppers and lowers that result in massive unfair benefits to the latter. It is like working in a high school and there is so much drama, rumor mill, and hatefull gossip going on that it could make you sick. We are never informed or told the truth about anything especially when it comes to the welfare and state of the company, and there are so many rumors that no one ever knows what is truth or not. Don't ever expect a decent raise or promotion as everything is considered a "lateral" move, and don't expect a decent salary or benefits until you've worked here for 10+ years. Everyday you have to be on your highest guard and walk around on eggshells in fear of getting fired, and the atmosphere feels like your always being watched by Big Brother. Everything is monitored and tapped in on and there are more restrictions in the rules and on the computers than in the military. If you want to advance than you must drink from the punch bowel and bend over backwards and go to all the after hours drinking parties with management, become a snitch on coworkers, make some shady deals, and always be up for the whims of management. You don't speak ill of your manager, you dont talk about lay offs, you don't question the new ridiculous edits to the employee policy, and you don't question or correct a VP if you want to keep a pay check. I would not still be working here if I could find another place to go.

Pros

Pens and Post It notes are provided.

Cons

Very poor, inexperienced management Massive sexual harassment by upper management that is well-known and accepted throughout company Severely low pay unless you are an executive Sexist, racist jokes by VP's and leaders Sexual relations between upper management and low level employees Everyone who is "anyone" must drink alcohol in excess after-hours with managers Very much gossip Low level employees are punished with bad reviews and write ups for minor offenses You will only progress if you are a 'good ol' boy" No opportunity to move up, all moves are lateral with no pay increase Can this company please be investigated or audited by someone and rescue us from the laws they break! I am trying to find a new job and will leave after I get some experience and education completed.

Pros

Some coworkers and managers are great at communicating and coming together to work on projects. Pretty good work/life balance. Managers will understand that sometimes as a parent, you need to work from home or unexpectedly take off a bit early.

Cons

If you're a woman, prepare yourself for the sexism and sometimes downright harassment by some. If you're ambitious, this is not the place for you. Expect for 15 years to go by before you're able to move into more challenging roles. This place is run by old, white man and they promote the mentality that challenging roles come after years of being bored with a simple position. Prepare to hear this phrase a lot, "They're just good ol' boys that fly by the seam of their pants," when it comes to describing the Puffer culture by employees AND customers. Very low pay. HR will tell you this is because of the ESOP package they offer. They do not contribute to your 401K account. Very few opportunities to earn more. Most career moves are considered, "lateral moves". Very informal place of work. Lack of professionalism by some. Too many personal stories and personal religious beliefs shared. CEO will make crass comments/jokes about admin and warehouse employees when he thinks no one is listening. Sick time and vacation time is tied up into one small bundle of PTO.
