So much potential but toxic environment of codependency upon old sales transactional mindset

Pros
Commodity between coworkers are good. The science team does a stellar job in keeping customers happy.
Cons
Leadership is removed and diversity is minimal. Operations weighs down people with no investment of tools or sales training. Largely dependent upon an old system and expected to do mail merge for outreach. Upper leadership doesn't mange expectations or skills sets for their people. Majority of the time, pipeline call just list the opportunity and nothing else. This is an event driven business so not much to drive your own . If you do, takes a minimum of 6-8mth by then you missed quarterly over inflated targets. If you have a good quarter then expect not to make money the next 3.

Pros
There is camaraderie between the long suffering and underpaid and unappreciated employees. it was like I was living an episode of The Office everyday.
Cons
Don't even know where to start. Management was a mess, so much backstabbing. Senior leadership turn over was constant - 4 Optum LifeSciences presidents in a year. Maybe they are doing better now that they aren't part of Optum. It almost couldn't be worse.
