Startup with an antiquated mentality and approach

Pros

The work can be interesting and compelling

Cons

Traditional corporate attitudes where bullish individuals that talk the most get to climb up the ladder, which the ladder climbing in and of itself is problematic at a startup, where knowledge sharing and collaborating should be safe and QuantumWork is lacking. Leadership is not equipped to be leaders in a startup, as they are all part of the larger company that QWA sits under and have been with them for 10+ years. Very "boys' club," where you're in or you're out, your talent and merit don't matter and, heaven forbid, if you want to make the culture more pleasant. Their product and services are really nonexistent because the tenured employees push out anyone who challenges their approach, another quality that is pertinent for a startup that QWA lacks. All in all, you'll be disappointed by joining QuantumWork, if not because you specifically will be treated badly, but you'll have to witness others being treated badly, and it's hard to tell which one is worse.
