Pros

Job was easy, got paid on time

Cons

The location sucked, the only nearby food options were some gas stations. Management was totally incompetent, never communicated what was going on or new ways we were doing things to the whole warehouse, so we'd have one department doing things one way when another is doing it the another way, and so on. If you're a hard worker they really don't recognize you. Sometimes during the mandatory morning meetings they'd throw you a piece of paper saying good job and your coworkers would clap for you but it was more awkward than anything, and upper management had nothing to do with it. Attendance policy wasn't the best. You'd get full points for things like accidentally entering your employee number wrong at the time clock or losing your entry badge. How is that related to attendance? Because it slightly inconveniences HR? Also if you did take any unpaid sick days for multiple days they'd get very annoyed at you. You could 100% be in compliance for the attendance policy and below the amount of "free" times you can call out during the quarter, but regardless they will pull you aside and talk to you about your absence with little to no care if you were having a serious illness or other major issues. You were not allowed to come in to work if sick and would get written up for coming in sick. But then complain when you missed days because you were sick. What do you people want?!?! They also care very little about seniority and loyalty. I know people that have worked there for years that were passed up for promotions over newer employees in their department that had no idea how the department even runs. Like 3 months new vs someone working there for 4 years and has always been a hard working employee. Also seen someone from a totally different department become lead of another department they've barely even worked in before. Naturally they had no idea how the departments processes worked and were generally useless. Company is also not very great with their approach to overselling items. The inventory management was pretty much non-existent. Our system could say we would have 2 phones but they were nowhere in the warehouse. So we let the customer know we couldn't fill their order and gave them a refund, right? No. Wed send out a different item that they didn't order, usually in way worse condition, for them to deal with a return and just p. them off. Imagine being excited for a brand new iPhone 15 and when you get your package and open it, it's some off brand android phone from 6 years ago. Returning to the inventory management, nobody was allowed to change anything in inventory pretty much except for the devs and owner, who were too busy to even pretend to care about any issues. Wed have the same laptop or iPad in our inventory for weeks and we would keep overselling it and having to send out some other items that the customer didn't order, and upper management showed no signs of caring about this glaring issue. Then we get to the final days, where out of nowhere, we were told the location is closing down and we will all be losing our jobs. Nobody from management told us. Some employee found out somehow and then it spread like wildfire. When it got to the floor manager she didn't even know about it. Did end up being true. They couldn't even tell their lower managers? Were they just going to leave us in the dark and one day say that's it everyone go home and don't come back? The Washington location was always said to be the top 1 of the 3 locations we had. We set the standard for everything. Great employees that knew how to do their jobs correctly. Cared about issues and bugs and tried to get them fixed. Told how great we were. We were basically THE location. But I guess none of that mattered. Good luck with the 2 locations that have always had issues doing their job correctly. Hope that works out well for you.
