Pros

Well established in the US- with occasional opportunities to work with them and members from other offices. Great colleagues. Great office location.

Cons

Poor and inexperienced leadership. Due to their immaturity & insecurities, it creates a political culture of favouritism and biasness. The leadership team predominantly came from traditional above-the-line background, mostly with marketing campaigns experiences. Still new to Design Thinking Processes and struggle when leading Product & Services Projects. It’s mostly ‘fake it till we make it’- however at the expense of the team under them. It’s a shame R/GA’s culture and standard built by the US office hasn’t been successfully passed on to the Singapore office.

Hostile working environment

Pros

Occasional interesting work done with the right team of people and competent leads. Good work-life balance for the most part. Good family benefits.

Cons

Horrible middle management. Employees seen as simply resources to fill in gaps. Interesting work is silo-ed amongst cliques. Extremely top heavy. Office is full of freelancers, no ownership or autonomy to work done with so many different hands touching it. Employees below middle management are perceived no better than freelancers, are seen to be easily replaceable and have little job stability.

Pros

- Useful resources that you can tap on from global - A lot of sharing and exchange of resources within the network

Cons

- No longer focusing on human future. Everything is now back to systems and processes. Low EQ, no empathy. - Change in working style from hybrid to full time WFO. Didn't officially announce but request for staff to come in more regularly. - No transparency in communication. - Feedbacks are not taken into consideration. - Recognition and promotion are only given to those that are closely link to management
