      Pros

      Most of the people at R&R are great to work with.

      Cons

      The commercial lines department is like an old boys club with a great deal of favoritism. If you didn’t go to Catholic Memorial or Marquette University - you’re not part of the club. They sell you on the resources they have, yet those resources are rarely seen or extremely outdated. They will force you to rush taking your licensing exams and cut your training short only to “throw you to the wolves” to sink or swim.

      Pros

      Great culture. People are treated with respect. Family atmosphere. Very successful and financially strong. High emphasis on quality service to clients. People have a lot of pride here in what they do. HIGH emphasis on being truly KNOWLEDGE BROKERS.

      Cons

      .Successful growth always brings with it some inherent challenges. Would recommend more emphasis on upward and downward communicaiton focusing on team building dynamics and opportunity for feedback and discussion. When things get super busy just due to time pressures the command and control mode can become pervasive even unintentionally. Again, this is actually something that arises from great success we have going here and the positive momentum. Not so much a "con" but more of a thought going forward to pay attention to .

      Pros

      Family owned and operated. Wonderful co-workers. Great benefits including Health Insurance, 401k and profit sharing. Lots of perks such as casual days, zoo pass and museum pass.

      Cons

      Office will be relocating to Pewaukee which is inconvenient for my commute.
