It's not that they're bad people, but everyone in management is in their position for the first time. Unfortunately that inexperience is paired with huge egos so you end up with bosses, not leaders. One in particular is a loose cannon that tends to throw tantrums, disparage current and former employees to others, and flex their authority where they can. We've lost a lot of good people due to this one and had full-out mass exoduses due to another. Lots of instability, politics and whispered drama. Know your worth before applying here. Pay is far below market rate and promotions and raises are few and far between.

The management team was consistently manipulative and dishonest. They entice employees with empty promises then refuse to honor them. There is bullying and favouritism towards lower level employees from executives and middle management, which creates a toxic and un-motivating environment for some. Management has the wrong priorities. They care more about getting acquired than building a usable product. There are many instances of double standards where employees are held to a certain standard, then management behaves in the opposite way. High turn over in some teams for these exact reasons.
