Pros

- OK benefits in the UK offices, but not in international offices. - Pay is OK but not overly competitive. - Some directors are driven but poorly skilled, middle-management level employees are slowly (and sadly) choking the company.

Cons

Sadly, there are many things I could write here, but I will focus only on the main things. - At a time when you are going through a seismic digital transformation, you are hemorrhaging the Millennial demographic. This is difficult for you since, whether we like it or not, this demographic possesses many of the skills you really need at this time. - You are unable to retain staff due to a package that isn't as competitive as elsewhere, but, more importantly, because accountability is so poor in many offices. I had a manager for the best part of two years who had no idea what I did professionals, could not measure my performance correctly, and did not inspire me. I know from anecdotal evidence that this occurs in many, many offices globally. - Finally, there's a severe lack of internal promotion and you're very willing to let great existing people go, yet, you are unwilling to address the elephant in the room: that there are many high-graded staff that are being retained that are underperforming, you are keeping interim staff that are poor, and you are employing externals that leave within weeks (this is happening in many offices).

Pros

Good sense of boundary to balance work-life. Everyone is mindful of not letting anybody work late and any late work hours can be made up for. Processes are in place, and the company is open to trying tools to make work easier. They have enabled a global working culture and everyone is open to meeting online and across the globes, highlighting a good transition to new ideas

Cons

Not profit-driven means salary can be quite stifled. This is not exactly a place to climb for success but to maintain and preserve an establishment that can continue running for people to learn in.
