Pros

-Chance to work with hospitals and help solve healthcare challenges -There are wonderful people that work(ed) here -Work and life balance

Cons

The acquisition has resulted in noticeable changes in company priorities and morale. RL Solutions used to care about its people: employees and customers. No company is perfect, and we weren't then either, but we are much worse off now. People stayed at this company for our collective culture, but that culture has changed. HR practices are non-existent. They don't seem to know how to effectively manage people. Or maybe they just don't care. This is not the place for anyone early in their career that wants to pursue their full potential. Pay is well below industry standards. M and As are never completely smooth, but the lack of internal communication about newly acquired companies and their products is frustrating.

Pros

This page is spammed with fake employee reviews giving positive comments that don’t even make sense. Go look at how many reviews were made on aug 3 alone. It’s clearly someone in HR routinely writing these. They comment how beautiful the Toronto office is but the Toronto office has not been in real use by the entire Toronto workforce for almost 21 months now.

Cons

People never get laid off or fired literally because people are just walking out the door on their own. Like people can leave fast enough to get out of this sinking ship. It’s why it seems as the companies always hiring.

Pros

Management appears to mean well, they're just out of touch and not involved enough. Work, life balance is actually descent as doing as little as possible just to get code out the door is completely acceptable, if you can rush code no matter how many bugs you generate doing so, you have lots of free time. Great place for developers that just want to coast!

Cons

Development teams and especially product, project management are downright toxic. People are quitting constantly. No one currently there built any of their applications due to attrition, so current teams don't even really know how anything works, nor do they have the skills, desire or time allotted to learn. The assembly line pace of superficial, rushed features providing little benefit is completely overshadowed by the amount of tech debt generated to rush releases. All productivity is tied to meeting points per sprint so developers rarely implement best practices, they do as little as possible to get it out the door and are willing to do use horrible development practices that should never be part of any SDLC. All resulting in an already mediocre (at best) product getting worse and newer applications, built on better architecture meeting the same fate ultimately.
