Pros

• Timely salary payments • Sufficient leave allowance

Cons

• Salary growth is negligible — increments are promised but rarely delivered, making performance reviews and feedback sessions feel largely symbolic. • Management often does not acknowledge or act on employee concerns. When feedback is shared, it may result in retaliation rather than improvement, creating fear instead of openness. • Extended working hours are normalized. “Critical periods” are cited regularly, but they never seem to end, leaving staff consistently overworked. • Employee health — both physical and mental — is not prioritized. Those experiencing burnout or health issues receive little support or understanding. • The workplace culture can be highly unprofessional. Senior leaders and some team members exhibit aggressive communication styles, including verbal intimidation. • Toxic behavior, including misconduct or abusive interaction, is often overlooked. Despite complaints, no corrective action is taken, allowing problematic individuals to continue unchecked. • Employees are expected to sacrifice their personal lives for work. Work–life balance is virtually nonexistent and long hours are treated as standard. • Instead of addressing performance or growth in a constructive way, pressure tactics are used — including overloading individuals with responsibilities, creating hostile situations, and indirectly forcing employees out. • Accountability is lacking. Individuals who display bullying, abusive language, or toxic conduct are rarely questioned or disciplined, which reinforces a culture where such behavior is normalized and tolerated.
