Ok, for freshers & newly entered engineers in embedded domain
Pros
1. Good for learning & development, good for freshers with some practical knowledge of Embedded C & embedded processors. 2. Knowledgeable (I see him as a genius) Owner (and Director) of company, can do any thing if determined. But, difficult to talk to. 3. Had very good products in Lighting, Multimedia Automation an in Power Safety. 4. A purely Indian company which is completely developing & manufacturing such high end products, competing with international counterparts. 5. I have learnt a lot in this place in embedded product development in small time of 3 years. 6. If you are in factory, work is not over burdened. Production Factory is like Push Button, at 9:00 am peoples are turned On & at 5:30 pm turn their buttons off (they have invisible button on their head). And whatever time they spend, is what is measure of production, but, unfortunately it is not a fact.
Cons
1. Factory has very poor management, managed by incapable & no knowledge about what company designs & manufactures. 2. Factory has regional preference in hiring, doesn't matter if person is actually qualified & proactive to work on particular job. I won't recommend any B.E or a person who want to grow to get hired in factory. Santacruz is headquarter & has professionalism & knowledge flow. 3. I'm current employee & always tried to give my best in my work, but, hardly got any motivation in these years, afraid to do something different and fears makes a person mentally weak & can not contribute much in positive direction. 4. The biggest problem is very less strength of R&D & the owner (and director) has to sit on low level issues as well, which of course will make the atmosphere horrible. All other directors are not qualified to contribute much in product development, except telling about the issues. 5. Neither of the factory staff actually know what they are repairing & how those stuffs ideally work & what kind of applications they are used, neither they want to know. Though, management bothers a lot about work timings. In & Out time doesn't defines the productivity of an employee. You won't find this thing in either of top notch MNCs who are known to innovate & growth. Mind is not a stop watch, neither the innovation nor good work, depends on clock. Such things kills the self motivation to do something good for company & give our best in my work.
