Change is Good

Pros

There has been a lot of change here, but it is for the better. We are evolving as an organization as we grow and mature. As we become more stable, some employees have had concerns and issues with this; change is good - but is also hard at the same time.

Cons

As we go through this change, we have lost some great talent and past knowledge; so rebuilding that will take time.

They don't make 'em like they used to...

Pros

The culture was the main reason to work here. When I began, the teams were organized, there was transparency between managers and the people, and there was an awesome vibe between people. You always felt supported. You felt like people had your back and it felt like the work you did had some meaning behind it all. It was (repeat WAS) a great place to be, especially if you're starting out in your career and want a great group of people who support you and want to help you succeed. That high rating was well deserved about a year ago.

Cons

That all soured after it was acquired. People were let go without explanation and when people started to 'voluntarily' go, most of us knew something was up. There seemed to be a lot of tension building between personalities and team members. Some of us complained to the management but we were brushed off, dismissed, ignored or worse. The high ratings are not descriptive of what the company is of this moment.

Pros

At times the schedule is very flexible (sometimes its rigid, its all at the whim of management)

Cons

Middle management makes poor choices, chose to manage with tension and fear. Employees are very cliquish. Good job if you are fresh out of college and does know any better, re salaries.
