It can be a challenge to work in an environment with so many smart people (mostly PhDs in the field) and keep focus on what needs to be done to advance the business. Yet this can also be the fun part - if you enjoy the responsibility and opportunity to "show your stuff" and make a contribution in Research or R&D roles.
