Pros

I liked my fellow colleagues.

Cons

Being a former AHS Residential employee that’s was voted by over 1,000 of my peers as top builder in Dallas and completed the “Certified Master Builder” program with more than 25 years as a home builder. Not to forget being on the cover of “Builder Architech” magazine and building the first IBM Smart House for the National Builders Convenience in Dallas and you have the audacity to insult me and say I have unsatisfactory performance in the AHS Residential toxic Dallas office, when in reality it’s the management. Also your manager in front of another employee asking my age was dead wrong. When I bring the issues to your and AHS Residential HR attention, you stop all communicating without reason.

Pros

- competitive base salary - flexibility in terms of hybrid office/work-from-home schedule - backed by a publicly-traded Brazilian company with deep pockets - 'throw money at it' attitude which is fun until you realize it's all in vain

Cons

- toxic culture resulting in no clear vision from leadership - palpable lack of experience in C-suite and director roles - incompetent leadership in the corporate, director, and c-suite level positions - impossible to reach annual goals, metrics, and KPIs - no clear direction - cross-functional conflict daily - inferior end-user product versus what's available in local markets - no opportunity for equity since the company is a subsidiary of a publicly-traded company on another country’s stock exchange (Brazilian stock exchange) - growth opportunities are carrots that don't exist - heavy language barrier due to Brazilian influence and South Miami HQ

Thank you for your review. We have been in business since 2012, established and founded in South Florida. We are growing exponentially and are expanding our footprint into new markets. We are a highly adaptable and goal-oriented company. In addition, we are constantly working to improve our processes through innovation. We recognize that this environment isn’t for everyone. We do take pride in addressing issues immediately. We encourage you and all of our team members to voice their concerns. As a reminder, here is the process: Reach out to your immediate supervisor. If your concern has not been addressed, contact the Human Resources Department. Our talent acquisitions team is focused on bringing in the right people to the right roles, keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind. We look to hire local talent for our new markets whenever possible, and also like to promote from within when we can, to provide current employees the opportunity to grow with us. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

They want to grow. Move fast. Be the best.

Cons

They choose power over mental and physical health. They want to grow and move fast, but they will run you over in doing so. They do not care about your health whether you are ER sick, or just had surgery. They will fire you and replace you quickly. That’s their motto. According to them, AHS is priority. They do not believe in remote work at all either; even if you are suppose to be in bed rest. They force vaccinations on everyone or you will be terminated or not hired. No alternatives accepted. The people within the office do not look happy being there. Check their social media out. Check out the interviews on a couple people that work there for awhile. They look miserable. Everyone has this sad fake persona. Not a “I want to help you out or let’s build a great relationship type of environment.” It’s constant competition with each other when we are all in the same team. They have 0 patience for everyone and everything. They make sure to let you know that you aren’t of any value and can be replaced immediately. When you try to explain these concerns to them, their answer is “welcome to corporate.”

Thank you for your review. We are growing fast and aspire to be the best at what we do and we know that starts with our employees. The safety, health and well-being of our employees is always at the forefront of everything we do. We have a culture-centric, highly collaborative environment here at AHS Residential and give employees ample personal time off. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience and hope you take the right steps to solve this matter. We have an open-door policy and encourage all of our employees to voice their concerns and have an open dialogue with their supervisors at all times. Human Resources can also be contacted directly if employees aren't comfortable speaking about an issue with their supervisor. Employees can also contact our anonymous Compliance and Ethics hotline where possible illegal, unethical, or improper conduct can be reported. Thanks again, we value your feedback.
