Pros

They hire great people Bagels I made good friends here

Cons

Lots of overtime Poor management Top-heavy company Sexist (A position was created, and shortened to 'DAD'. A joke was made at a company meeting that it would be funny if the person working directly under them was referred to as 'MOM'. Yes, this really happened.)

Pros

Had great clients, with big names. My team below our director was amazing, smart, and worked hard despite upper management challenges Learned a lot about the industry through self-teaching

Cons

Upper management created a hostile, shark like environment... If you didn't play the game, you were left behind (both on paid and organic side of business) HR protects upper management, even when they have multiple people having way too many unacceptable issues Too much work, and not enough life... No educational support from upper management (no conferences, no seminars, and no dedicated time outside of client work to teaching employees)

Pros

- Decent office/location - Some interesting clients - Fun company outings - Tendency to work with Omnicom creative agencies rather than outside agencies (always a better dynamic)

Cons

- Terrible leadership. Group Directors blatantly play favorites and act with impunity/minimal oversight. Rumors and gossip fueled by senior leadership is a laughable trait for a company this size to have - Media management essentially graduates into account management rather than parallel career tracks like most agencies, leading to a lack of subject matter expertise from account leaders - Extremely clique-y social atmosphere. While a younger workforce has plenty of positive qualities, it also lends itself to a lot of immaturity when it comes to workplace dynamics.
