Pros
Deeply committed to a healthy work life balance. Most staff work remotely (i.e. from home). People are super flexible to meet your personal needs - you don't have to "leave your feelings at home" with this organiation. Also deeply committed to racial justice work. It's rare to find an organization these days where you can openly talk about being white or a poc, poor or earning class. It's a real treat to be able to bring all of your identities to the table each and every day.
Cons
Because most staff are remote, the NYC office is the only true "office" nationwide. That can be hard for folks who enjoy working in person with others.
