Pros

The only thing I recall being happy with was a number of coworkers were genuinely kind people. A small number, but it was the only thing I could be grateful for because everything else fell short.

Cons

Everything. I simply cannot recommend anyone to go and work for this company. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had in the insurance industry. They do not care about the people they employ.

Pros

There are no pros to this job.

Cons

You will be overworked, underpaid, and most definitely undervalued as an Account Manager. Only the producers and partners are valued, and nobody (as an Account Manager) is treated the same. Favoritism is alive and well here, and nobody does much to hide it. It's a constant rat race to catch the carrot dangling in front of you - always being told your pay depends on your book size, but then your book size is only dependent on how well your producer does, and when you ask for more work you're either met with a "no" or a "sure here's some random BS that nobody can train you on, so figure it out yourself then get back to us." There is absolutely no room for growth as a Processor/Account Manager. The only pathway available is if you want to become a Senior Account Manager, and that requires putting in YEARS of work - and it still depends on position availability. If you want to grow beyond that, then you have to ditch the AM position and jump into Sales as a Producer. Otherwise, you are stuck right where you're at. There is no work-life balance. Lots of late nights if your work isn't done, but you get scolded if you don't get it done quick enough. The expectations are unreal and the availability for help from management is nonexistent. So many people have quit in the last several years, and every single one shares the same experience: Being bullied into staying by management, and if the bullying didn't work, then being treated like garbage until your last day. No final goodbyes, no thank yous, just childish petty behavior. Once you say you want to leave, they will guilt trip you into staying and refuse to listen to your reasoning with any attempt to make it better. Please save yourself and search for a job elsewhere.

Pros

Enjoyed my clients and flexibility

Cons

There is no transparency. There is something very fishy going on with this company and not in a good way.
