Pros

Decent salary and benefits. Office in good location.

Cons

No secret there are politics at c lvl and goals are not united. It is like game of thrones at the top. Several senior leaders are openly looking outside for opportunities and leave. Target goals regarding revenues are unrealistic but nobody seems to call that out. Overall company culture is toxic with no support from HR. Company hires alot of external consultants and vendors... spends so much of money in a climate where so many people were let go this year.

Pros

Non, considering the working environment and work culture, you have to put up

Cons

Superficially, the company appears to be reliable and trusted, as it is ONLY backed by its major shareholders, BHP, Cargill, and Rio Tinto- who are the largest charterers of the commodity they vet. However, the organisation is operating very badly with unrealistic goals and a toxic work culture. This is affecting the maritime industry by adding extra cost and pressure to the shipping community, with unnecessary inspections and vetting activities. This is a "for-profit" organisation - the Ops dept and BD dept are always looking into ways to milk the maritime/ shipping sector for business in the name of "safety". In most cases, these practices are unethical and greedy. As such, unrealistic goals and a toxic work culture are getting more prominent in every team. This is driven by the management's greed, lack of moral values, and disrespect for good people in the company (who most/if not all, have left).
