Very bad and resulted in stress related health problems.
Pros
They have good starting wages, if you don't plan to stay for long go in for the starting wage. The people I worked with were fantastic, it was more the way the company was run and the owners/headquarters operations. Recently got a new manager that seems to know what their doing so things are moving a bit smoother.
Cons
Extremely lengthy interviewing process and make you take a background check. They treat employees like thieves and make each front end worker double check and triple check money counts to make sure there is no stealing. They forced me to sign binding contracts that outlines my responsibilities and a short time frame (1 shift) to achieve the responsibilities and then made me write what I should receive as a reward and what I should get as a punishment if I did not succeed. Chose to release me without notice at 3 in the morning. Refusal to release RoT report when requested. Do not enforce food safe procedures for bakers. Do not enforce 1st in 1st out for bakers. Equipment goes uncleaned for long period of time. Very odd paid periods (the 7th day of each month and 27th day) which makes it very hard to pay bills. Strictly enforced terminology such as "find a better way" and "admire people" but very few member of head office follow these procedures. Cut shifts short in the middle of shifts so employees do not get full payment. Very poor communications. Do not take suggestions well and do not listen to staff members when complaints/requests are made. Extremely lazy head staff member who will not lift a finger to help in the store. (Wont even help stock the cooler, just tell the front end workers when they are very busy with customers to do things). Was promised a lot of things at the beginning of employment which was later revoked. Told "there is no chance for raise" 6 months into the job when I was told there was a chance for raise.
