Pros

The handful of great people still working there

Cons

Literally everything else. This company goes against its own values daily and leadership is fake, clueless, and arrogant. This year alone they’ve let go of around 50 corporate employees because the C suite doesn’t understand the industry and how to budget. I’m surprised the outlandishly lavish office space hasn’t been subleased to generate extra revenue yet, but as the company went through layoffs in the beginning of the year they simultaneously promoted a bunch of Executives to the C suite. Seems counterproductive, but it makes sense when you realize that they’re just a bunch of people looking out for themselves instead of the employees who actually keep the wheels turning. The owner/CEO directs the accounting team to reallocate funds in reporting in an attempt to keep the investors happy, even though it is clear to everyone that the company is drowning quickly under the current leadership. If you speak up, you will be shunned and leadership will try their hardest to gaslight you into believing that YOU are the problem and not their twisted, backwards way of doing business. They sell a too-good-to-be-true picture of what working there is like but in reality it’s just a poorly managed, poorly maintained dumpster fire that serves no one but those at the top. Career development and advancement are nonexistent for most and the company is too unstable for anyone to feel secure working there.

The company is in a state of growth and working hard to provide more work for reps and improve the team's work experience with us.

Cons

None that the company is not working to improve upon!

Pros

People are nice and I had no negative interactions with anyone while working with any of the corporate employees. I would say this company is alright if you're coming in at a manager level or above.

Cons

It's obvious that the "in crowd" are all the upper managers/directors/VPs. 4 days in office, it's plain to see that the CEO does not trust his employees to have real flexibility and to do their jobs from home. Even during Covid, everyone had to come in because the CEO cares more about having eyes on his employees than any consideration about people's health or families. Everyone is busy because it's a small team so people have to wear multiple hats, however you won't be compensated for your extra hard work. Be prepared to come in early and stay late if needed. Vacation policy is okay for manager level and above, standard/bad for everyone else. For a company where the work is not exciting, the pay average, and being a relatively no-name company, you would think they would have some additional benefits to keep people, but they don't. And they wonder why people leave the moment a better opportunity presents itself. People at the top will keep getting promotion after promotion, yet there is no growth for employees joining in entry or mid level roles. Definitely the type of place you work a year or 2 and then bounce.
