Pros

Only positive is the Wagestream accessibility for flexible pay

Cons

- Poor Management: There is a clear lack of management organisation, my site has been without a line manager for months now leaving us unable to place and receive orders Management also do not visit sites, provide any induction training, and are poor at replying to any communications. - Disrespectful to employees Previous line managers have been rude and unreasonable to employees suggesting it was irresponsible to make complaints about management as we have to be ‘team players’ despite not having any support from management - Disorganised policies Lack of employee handbook with policies, display inaccurate policies in the employee portal and then penalise employees for not conforming to policy despite not having any knowledge of the ‘correct’ policies. Eg. Holiday notices being displayed incorrectly - Disrespectful to non-English employees Claim they are supportive of employees with little to no English skills (as they often employ immigrant workers) yet do not provide any support for said employees, often leaving them with no way to navigate their own hours or pay, and refusing to communicate in an accessible way. - Complaints process As an employee, there is no direct way to contact HR, all complaints must be taken through the line manager with no way to take it higher/ complain about a line manager If you have the option, AVOID THIS COMPANY! You are a number and they do not care about you

Pros

There is flexibility in my work hours. The salary was quite okay for the role and questions raised are often answered in time.

Best cleaning company in the UK

Pros

SBFM is a great company and offers flexible work hours.

Cons

I barely see my line manager and whenever you around 16:00, nobody picks up or the line keeps dropping until the next day. However, whatever request/issue you have would be solved the next day when you call or send email.

Pros

It's a job, if you have the right colleagues and get paid right then you should be okay.

Where do I start - One of the worst jobs I've ever had. Some of that is down to the site itself and the staff but SBFM where in charge at the time so the fault is mostly with them. The Line Manager - whilst a nice person wasn't very good and clearly had favourites. They was even put on a warning. Communication between manager and supervisors was all over the place. Daytime Supervisors not the most professional, one would laugh whilst thier staff would speak poorly of others. Nonsense was allowed to be put into the work whatts app. We was not given work phones so I was expected to give out my personal number. Training they gave to new starters especially on the machines was a joke. Night Team lead was taken on without much training and they only applied to be a cleaner not a team lead. Backstabbing between staff. Each shift blamed each other there was no 'team' spirit at all depsite that being preached. Everyone only out for themselves. Manager and Supervisors had thier favourites. Whilst others were wrongly labelled lazy. The site was named the flagship site depsite half of the workforce not doing enough. Most jobs was put on or blamed on night shift. Excuse being "we are more busy on days" even though its a 24 hour factory. Management never came to visit night shift. Pay was wrong a lot of the time and you constantly had to chase payroll. Supervisor training only came into affect a few weeks before I left. Glad I left when I did and SBFM has since been taken over by another company on the site.

Pros

SBFM is a fantastic company to work for! I have been working with Sbfm about 10 months now and I can tell that they genuinely value their employees and go above and beyond to create a supportive and positive working environment. My line manager Rogerio is the best, he is understanding, approachable and always ensures that hard work and dedication are recognised and appreciated. Sbfm is a workplace where you feel motivated to grow and excel, and the focus on employee satisfaction every months makes all the difference. I’m proud to be part of such an amazing team

Cons

In the past, I have made some complaints but they were swift to sort it out. There is no cons i can think of at the moment.

Pros

They let you listen to music. Payment is made on time.

Cons

Worst company I’ve been working for.Management is SHOCKING! They don’t know how to communicate with employees also when you need to fix an issue (wages that they owe you) they pass you one another .They also have line managers paid to play dumb at your issues. My advice STAY AWAY!
