Pros

Flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Cons

SEGRO presents itself as a values‑driven organisation, but in practice those values are not consistently demonstrated—particularly within senior leadership. There is a noticeable pattern of senior managers prioritising self‑protection over accountability and when issues arise, responsibility is frequently pushed downward rather than owned at the appropriate level. This creates an environment where people feel exposed rather than supported. The culture in the Slough office is especially challenging. It can feel politically charged, with individuals quick to protect their own position even at the expense of colleagues. Collaboration is often overshadowed by behind‑the‑scenes manoeuvring and it’s not uncommon to feel that trust is fake. The atmosphere is toxic, with a sense that people are disposable if they no longer serve an immediate purpose. Workloads are consistently heavy, and expectations around hours can be unrealistic. Teams are lean to the point of being stretched and the volume of work rarely aligns with the resources available. This leads to long days, constant pressure and a feeling of never being able to catch up. Burnout is a real risk and support for managing workload varies significantly depending on who your line manager is. SEGRO has the potential to be an exceptional place to work—its assets, brand, But until the Senior Leadership Team's behaviours align with the company’s stated values and until the culture shifts from self‑preservation to genuine support, many employees will continue to feel totally undervalued, overworked and disposable.

Pros

Flexibility to take leave for stress and mental health as so many people have been broken by this company.

Cons

Talking to others will quickly depress you as they share their experiences dealing with bullying and a toxic HR function.
